Growing girl

It has been 3 months today since Bethany was born. We are so thankful for this sweet little girl in our lives. I cannot believe how fast the time is going. I find myself wishing I could keep this sweet baby from growing. She is the happiest baby that we have had. She always has a smile for us and has just recently started bringing us more joy with her cute giggles. She finds her sisters pretty funny at times!

I just know that this little angel is going to be pretty spoiled by her 2 big sissys! It is such a blessing to see how much they all love each other!

Let it Snow!

8 Fun things to do on a snowy day:

1. Eat snow-of course!

2. Have a snowball fight!

3. Slide down a slide full of snow!

4. Make a snow angel!

5. Eat an icicle.

6. Find out that icicle's actually tastes like, and I quote, "DIRT!"

7.Jump on a trampoline filled with snow!

And then there is my personal favorite-
8. SLEEP!

Our Chunky Monkey

It is kind of CRAZY how much babies change! In just two months little Bethany has gone from this...
TO THIS....

She is still our little blonde blue eyed CUTIE though!!!!

Halloween

On Saturday the church had Trunk or Treat. Tabs decided to be a cute little bunny.
Emma was a witch and since her arm was in a brace still from breaking her arm we told people she was a witch who fell off her broom stick!

Cute little Bethany was a pumpkin. Happy first Halloween baby girl!

Even Dad got in the spirit this year! He was Charlie Brown from "It's the Great Pumpkin."

On Halloween night the girls went Trick or Treating with Sydney. This time Tabs wanted to be a doctor.

Such fun times! And YES! We have WAY too much candy!!!

Crazy hair day

Emma had crazy hair day at school. The craziest she wanted to do was 3 pony tails-I couldn't talk her into anything else!

Of course then Tabs wanted to do it too.

CRAZY GIRLS!

Fall!!!

It was a beautiful fall day today. The girls wanted to make a pile of leaves to jump in- so we gave them some rakes and put them to work! They were out there for a good 2 hours raking and jumping. Oh how I LOVE the Fall!

My 3 pretty girls on a fall day!

It helped to cheer Emma up.

Bethany sure has grown too fast!! It has been 5 weeks! CRAZY!!

Broken Arm

Friday night Emma Lou broke her right arm in between her shoulder and elbow. Anthony took her to the ER. The way the break is they couldn't really do much because they didn't know if they should cast it or if she needs surgery on it. They gave her some pain meds and put her arm in a splint and a sling and sent us home. I called the orthopedic surgeon first thing Monday morning but they can't get her until Thursday. Needless to say it has been a rough go at our house! We are praying that when we go in tomorrow they will just cast her and that she won't need surgery.
Emma is moving around better these last couple days but she still is very emotional about the whole thing. She says, and I quote, "I wish this were all just a bad dream!" I do too Emma Lou, I do too.

Bonded...

"To have a loving relationship with a sister is not simply to have a buddy or a confident, it is to have a soul mate for life."

When I was pregnant with Bethany, Tabitha was having a really hard time. She didn't want a little sister and felt that she was going to be replaced. I was really worried how she would handle having a sister. But once Bethany got here, all that went away.
Tabitha and Bethany have a connection that you cannot help but notice. Bethany can be crying and crying and all you have to do is lay her next to Tabitha or have Tabs talk to her and she immediately stops. Starting from a few days old, Bethany has smiled at Tabitha.
Tabitha loves to sing and read to her little sis.

Bedtime Snuggles

Bethany's eyes always light up when Tabs comes around.

Do you believe in LOVE at first sight?

I SURE DO!

My Three Girls...

I Love my 3 girls and all the different personalities they have. It will be fun to see how Bethany is as she grows. But for now we are enjoying this sweet little girl. I think she is enjoying life too...

Sweet dreams baby girl.

Yesterday was Tabitha's birthday. I was going to decorate with streamers and all I had was pink ones. Tabitha said "NO MOM!!! You know I HATE pink!" Really? Because I can't tell...

I think that is even PINK nail polish you have on.

We had a kitty cat party for Tabs and we went on a mouse hunt. Emma took the game seriously...
Silly Girl!

Bethany Lauren

Bethany Lauren came into our lives on September 3rd at 7:27 am. She was 8lbs and 5oz.

She has a full head of blond hair! Who would of thought we would have a blond baby!

Her favorite place to lay is still on Mommy's tummy curled up in ball or...
On her sister's laps. She loves her sisters already!

We love and our thankful for this new family member!

You're entirely bonkers!

Alice In Wonderland 2010 DVD Disc Cover
The Mad Hatter: "Have I gone mad?"
[
Alice checks Hatter's temperature]
Alice: "I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are."

I am not a big Tim Burton fan but since Anthony is I rented his version of Alice and Wonderland. Surprisingly, It is one of my favorite movies now! I love a lot of the quotes from this movie but since I seem to ask Anthony on a daily basis if I am crazy-because sometimes I feel that I really am-this is by far my favorite! So if you are like me and think you are "MAD" at times, just remember- you are one of the best!

I am a Child of God

Every summer the girls participate in a summer reading program at the public library. They are working on a list that was given to them where they need to read books that fit under a certain category. For example, they need to read a book about animals, pets, a biography, a fiction book and non fiction book.
Emma asked me what non fiction meant and I told her that it was a book about something true or something that really happened. She went into her room and came back with a little book called, I am a Child of God. "Here is my non fiction book, Mom." I started to tell her that the book wasn't quite a non fiction book but I could not even finish my argument when she interrupted me and very sternly said, "BUT IT IS TRUE MOM! We are children of God." How grateful I am for children in my life who remind me who we really are and what is really TRUE.

I am a Child of God
Written by Wendy and Michael Nelsen

I am a child of God, So HE shares His love with me.
I know God listens to me because I am His child.
I am a child of God and He sees me as I can become.
I Know I am a child of God because He surrounds me with people who love me.
Because I am a child of God,
I can learn about His world, and share what I learn with others.
I am child of God and His angels watch over me.
I am a child of God,
And I can love all of His creatures both great and small.
Because I am His child, He shows me the way to my dreams.
I am a child of God,
And He wants me to choose friends who will help me climb higher.
Because God loves and cares for me, I can learn to care for others.
I am God's child, and He has given me a wonderful world to explore.
I am a child of God, And He gives me talents to share with others to make His world more beautiful.
I can be brave and strong, for as a child of God, I am never alone.
I am a child of God,and Jesus is my brother. They are my friends.
They know my name and They love me.

1st grade here she comes!

We are so proud of little Miss Emma Lou! She successfully completed her first year of school! She had her Kindergarten graduation today at her school and it was fun to watch her!

She wanted a graduation cap cake to celebrate her special day, so between Mom and Dad we came up with this cake. Not bad for our first attempt!

Tabs was not quite as excited as Emma. I think she would have been happier without the sister hug! :)

Shaking the principals hand and getting her diploma!

Emma and Daddy!
(*Due to mom being big and pregnant- that picture was left out*)

Now that graduation is over- LET SUMMER BEGIN!!!!
